Eraser button

Hi, is there a way to set one of the pen buttons on the Kamvas 13 Pro to the "eraser" function that the Wacom and Surface Pro pens have?

  • Hi Lamp Door, yes, you can setup one of the pen buttons as an eraser. Just open your tablet driver (make sure that you click on "Administrator privileges" if you see it) and go to:

    1. Click Digital Pen
    2. Choose which button to set the eraser function
    3. Under Keyboard Combination Keys uncheck everything and just add "E" (click "Clear String" to clear previously set keys)
    4. Click OK to save the setting
    5. Click Apply or OK

  • Setting the button to E does not work the same as having a built-in "Erase" function. See here:

  • This post shows what I've tried so far:

  • Hi Lamp Door, thank you for sharing your post. May you please provide a video on what happens when you set one of your pen buttons to eraser? Kindly include how you want the eraser function to do so I can forward it to our software engineers.

  • Thank you! If Huion can get this working, I will provide a glowing review :)

  • The video shows how the Eraser button works in OneNote and BlueBeam Revu. Here is the link to install a trial for BlueBeam Revu so you can test the functionality: https://www.bluebeam.com/trials/

  • Hi Lamp Door, thank you for the link. But I'm sorry, I can't seem to find your video. May you please resend it or share the link again? If the file size is too large, you can upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and share the link here. Please make sure to remove the restrictions to anyone who has the link will be able to view it.

May I know the driver version you've installed and are you running on Windows or Mac? Please provide your computer operating system version as well.

  • Got it, looking forward to it!

  • You can change the settings to Switch Brush and this will function as an eraser.

  • Hi, that works for OneNote now but it actually doesn't work for BlueBeam Revu. Also, it is a toggle rather than holding it down. Is it possible to get the button to work as an eraser only when holding down on the button?

  • Hi Nathan Raikman, thank you for contributing to this post. We appreciate it!

Hi Lamp Door, I regret to inform you that our buttons currently work on click rather than being held down. I will add this to your suggestion that we've previously forwarded to our software engineers.

  • More importantly, I would like if we can get it to function in BlueBeam Revu as I use that program.

Here is the link for the trial version of the software: https://www.bluebeam.com/trials/

    Thank you.
