Confused on which port to connect which cable on your Kamvas 13?
The Kamvas 13 tablet display has two USB-C ports. You use a particular port or ports, depending on the type of cable you use.
Connection #1: USB-C to USB-C Cable
The USB-C to USB-C type cable can handle both data transfers and carry power. Thus, using this type of cable will have less clutter in your connection.
When using the USB-C to USB-C cable, use the USB-C port on the left-hand side of the image below. If you use your Kamvas 13 with your phone, to prevent your phone's battery from draining easily, you can connect a USB-C to USB-A cable to your power supply through the other USB-C port (right-hand side).
NOTE: The USB-C port of your computer/laptop/Android devices must support USB3.1 Gen1 and DP1.2 standards.
Connection #2: 3-in-1 Cable
If you are using the standard 3-in-1 cable with your Kamvas 13, you need to connect it to the USB-C port on the right-hand side as seen in the image below.
Make sure to connect all ends of the 3-in-1 cable to the necessary ports; the HDMI and the 2 USB-A's. The HDMI connection is responsible for the display, the black USB-A for the data connection, and the red USB-A is for the power source. If your computer or laptop has enough power, you can just connect it to your computer or laptop. Otherwise, you will have to connect it to a power plug. If your power connection is too far, you can use a USB-A to USB-A extension cable.
