How to Set Your Tablet Display Work Area

Ever wonder why your cursor keeps going to your computer screen and not to your tablet display? Or, is your cursor not calibrated no matter how you calibrate your tablet display?

Before setting up your tablet's work area, please check out these articles on how to extend your display:

Now that you've extended your display, please follow the steps below to set up your tablet's work area so your pen can work on your tablet display:

Version 15 Drivers:

  1. Open the tablet driver and click on "Pen Display" then "Working Area".
  2. Note: If you have a graphics tablet (without a display) and you are using at least 2 monitors, you can click on "Pen Tablet" then "Working Area".

  3. Click which display you want to use for your tablet. 
  4. When your drawing software is on your other screen, just use your mouse and drag it to your tablet's display. Depending on your display setting arrangement, you can drag your drawing software window to the left, right, up, or down.


Version 14 Drivers:

  1. Open the tablet driver and click on "Work Area."
  2. On "Select Current Display", choose which display you want to use for your tablet.

  3. If you are not sure which of the displays is your tablet, you can click "Identify".
  4. After selecting your tablet's display as your current display, click on "Apply" or "OK".
  5. When your drawing software is on your other screen, just use your mouse and drag it to your tablet's display. Depending on your display setting arrangement, you can drag your drawing software window to the left, right, up, or down.


Version 12 Drivers: 

  1. Open the tablet driver and go to "Screen Setting."
  2. On "Screen Setting," choose which display you want to use for your tablet.
  3. After selecting your tablet's display as your current display, click on "Apply" or "OK".
  4. When your drawing software is on your other screen, just use your mouse and drag it to your tablet's display. Depending on your display setting arrangement, you can drag your drawing software window to the left, right, up, or down.
