There are 2 methods to connect Kamvas 13 (Gen 3)/Kamvas 16 (Gen 3) to your computer/Android device:
1. Connect with a 3-in-1 cable.
You can use the included 3-in-1 cable for connection. When using the 3-in-1 cable, it can only be connected to a computer or laptop.
Connection Steps:
a. Connect the L-shaped USB-C connector of the 3-in-1 cable to the upper USB-C port of the Kamvas 13 (Gen 3)/Kamvas 16 (Gen 3).
b. Connect the HDMI and the USB-A cables to your PC's USB-C ports.
c. When the power supply is insufficient, the screen of Kamvas 13 (Gen 3)/Kamvas 16 (Gen 3) may black out or flicker, displaying messages such as "no signal". In this case, you can connect the power cable of the 3-in-1 cable to your PC for additional power.
*Note:
1. Kamvas 13 (Gen 3) does not include a power adapter, while Kamvas 16 (Gen 3) comes with one. The power adaptor (USB-A) of your Android phone is also compatible.
2. If you have a dedicated graphics card on your computer/Android devices, please make sure to plug the HDMI end of the 3-in-1 cable to the HDMI port on the dedicated graphics card, instead of that one on the PC's motherboard.
2. Connect with a full-featured USB-C cable.
Make sure the USB-C port of your computer/Android device and the USB-C cable meet USB 3.1 Gen 1 & DP1.2.
Connection Step:
a. Use the full-featured USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the lower USB-C port of Kamvas 13 (Gen 3)/Kamvas 16 (Gen 3) and your computer/Android device.
b. When the power supply is insufficient, the screen of Kamvas 13 (Gen 3)/Kamvas 16 (Gen 3) may black out or flicker, displaying messages such as "no signal". In this case, you can connect a charging cable or the included 3-in-1 cable (only the power end) through another USB-C port of the Kamvas 13 (Gen 3)/Kamvas 16 (Gen 3) for additional power.
*Note:
Kamvas 13 (Gen 3) does not include a full-featured USB-C cable, while Kamvas 16 (Gen 3) comes with one.
