Multiple Screen Issues

Hello everyone,

I'm having issues using my Kamvas gt221 Pro on multiple screens.

I have the latest drivers downloaded and set up.  I can use the screen itself perfect by itself, however when I put the settings to all displays for multiple use, the cursor doesn't follow the pen tim at all.  I click calibrate and nothing happens.  I don't get the calibration screen that allows me to select the red does in the crosses.

I'm using Windows 10

Has anyone else had this problem before?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

  • Hi Brian Royer, kindly try the steps found in this article: How to Set the Duplicate Mode or Extend Mode on Windows While Using Huion Pen Display?. After which, please follow the steps below to set your work area:

    1. Open the tablet driver and click on "Work Area"
    2. On "Select Current Display", choose which display you want to use for your tablet. If your tablet is on Display 2, select Display 2 as the current display.image

  • Mine doesn't save the monitor. I'm so going to return this soon. It keeps swapping it to my main monitor after every restart. There's an easy fix (just set the monitor each time, but it's annoying af), also you could just swap the base of the code a little and make it so it remembers the HWID of the tablet.

  • Using Huion Kamvas 13 Pro.

  • Hi JAXi, does your tablet driver show as "Device connected"? Kindly try to reinstall your tablet driver and check if it still swap to your other monitor. And after you reinstall the driver, please make sure to click on "Administrator privileges".

What driver version have you installed and what is your computer's operating system?

  • Already tried that. 14.8.90.1126 & Win10 Pro
  • Also another issue. It gets detected as DVI by my computer instead of HDMI, which makes it impossible to change colour depth etc. Any tips that I could use to calibrate the colours in some other way?

  • Hi JAXi, thank you for providing the requested information. It is possible that the switching to your main monitor is due to your computer not detecting the HDMI. But we will have to further investigate on this. Since you've opened a ticket with this issue, we will continue to assist you from there since we will have to request for some videos and other information.

  • I don't have a huion i'm helping a friend who is telling me that his home computer monitor desktop is showing on the huion 221 pro. When your looking at it, it's like your looking at 1 monitor. like the home screen is stretching to the huion. I hope that makes sense. I have no knowledge on this tablet. I kind ow know how to get around a computer so he is asking me for help.

  • Hi Robert Rodriguez, firstly, setup your friend's computer to extended mode by following these articles:

Second, open the tablet driver and follow the steps below to set up the tablet's work area:

    1. Open the tablet driver and click on "Work Area"
    2. On "Select Current Display", choose which display you want to use for your tablet. If you are not sure which of the displays is your tablet, you can click on "Identify".
    3. After selecting your tablet's display as your current display, click on "Apply" or "OK".

  • I too am having issues with the Windows 10 using firmware v14.8.95.1136 not remembering which monitor to select for the work area. Have to go and reset it after restart.

    Was this solved?

  • Hi D. Michael, kindly try using the latest driver which is v.14.8.137. When installing the driver, please make sure that your tablet is not connected to your computer, your antivirus is turned off and your drawing programs are closed. Make sure that you don't have any other tablet drivers installed on your computer as well, either from us or other brands since having other tablet drivers will cause issues with your tablet's performance.
