Something is wrong with my tablet and my pen

Hi, I am using a Huion tablet model H430P and it had an issue. Even though I do not touch my pen on the tablet and I just put the pen very close to the tablet without touching it, it still create strokes and I can't draw. I tried to unplugged and plugged in, restarted my laptop but it doesn't work. Here is an image that show you the strokes even though I do not touch my pen on the tablet. Can somebody help me how to fix it? Thank you very much.

  • Hi ! I have the same problem and I still don't know what is going on...

    I gave my tablet and pen to someone who has the same tablet as me and it worked well on his computer,  I unplugged and plugged in, uninstalled the driver to try many more, I even brought a new pen, and there is still this problem.  

    Either it's doing this bug, or it's not detecting the pressure at all (but the tablet and pen are recognized) .

    My tablet model is the  NEW 1060PLUS(8192)

    4. A video that can show the problem clearly (upload to Dropbox or Google drive would be preferred).

  • Hi kelly dos santos, what you are experiencing is the pen hovering issue. Please try the following steps:

    1. Please change the pen nib with a new one and make sure to insert it firmly. (Note: Clouds of dust on your pen nib will also result in the pen hover issue.)
    2. Please make sure there are no other electronic products like laptops or mobile phones nearby. If there are, please put them away and see if it helps, since the pen hover issue may also be caused by electromagnetic interference.
    3. Uninstall the driver, and try the tablet (without a driver installed) to see if the problem still persists. This can help determine if this problem is caused by the driver.
    4. If you have dropped the pen accidentally. We are sorry about that but this kind of man-made damage is out of our warranty. We suggest you purchase a new pen from our official store (Huion Battery-free Pen PW201) or Amazon.

    If you haven't dropped your pen and Steps #1-3 do not resolve your issue, please send the following information to

    • Serial number (found at the back of your tablet)
    • Purchase order number
    • Link where you purchased your tablet
    • A video that clearly captures your issue. You can just use your phone in taking the video and if the file size is more than 20MB, please send it through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive. If you upload it, please make sure that you remove the restrictions so anyone who has the link will be able to view it.

  • Hello, i have a huion tablet kamvas pro 16 and the pen and the the cursor wasn't in line so i tried to calibrate it and the pen didn't work on the tablet and ever since i tried it the pen hasn't worked on the table and i want to know why my pen isn't working on my tablet anymore.   • Hi christian harris, when you say the pen didn't work on the tablet, does it work on your computer screen instead? Does the tablet driver detect your tablet being connected? Kindly provide the following so we can better assist you:

    1. Your computer's operating system
    2. Version of the tablet driver you've installed
    3. Does the tablet driver show "Device connected"?

  • Hi, I have a small or big issue that happened just today so whenever I turned on my  huion tablet pro 13 the pen works just fine until few seconds it thinks its a mouse. usually stylus pens always works on every animation/  art softwares, it works on adobe animate as well but something must've happened to my pen, like always the line is curvy and smooth with pressure but now the brush is just basic. I thought maybe it was the app itself did this but then I realized its the pen that thinks its a mouse. Plus it doesn't scroll or anything like other stylus do. Can someone help me fix that? I'm working on an animation for my future carrier and that problem just happened and it annoys me.

  • Hi Nicole B, may I know which driver version are you using and your operating system version? Does the tablet driver show "Device connected"? Please try to reinstall the driver which may help restore it to the previous functions.

  • My KAMVAS pro 12 says ‘no signal’ and then goes into power saving mode. I use the 3-in-1 cable. I tried doing all the things in the help articles and it still says this. It was manufactured in 2021 so it shouldn’t be an age problem. If I use the pen on the display I can use it like a mouse.
