Kamvas 20 Pro (2019) Overheating?

Hello, I've had my Kamvas 20 Pro (2019) for about 8 months and now I've started to have a problem which is very worrying. When I want to draw and turn on my tablet, or simply have it turned on without doing anything on it, I notice its upper part becomes incredibly hot after a span of less than 15 minutes. It doesn't matter if I'm using it or not; it becomes so hot it's unbearable to draw on it or touch. I've never encountered this issue until the past month or so, and I'm growing more and more concerned. I don't know if this is a normal temperature or overheating, or what could be causing this. I would really appreciate a response and some help. Thank you for your time.
  • Hi anxhelika, we understand your concern about your tablet's temperature. Kindly make sure of the following:

    • Your room is not too hot. Proper ventilation is needed so your tablet won't overheat.
    • You don't have anything that blocks the vents at the back of your tablet. Remove any items that may block the vents.
    • No dust particles are blocking your tablet's vents. It is better to clean your tablet, especially the vents. If you are using a compressed air, please angle it so it won't cause the dust to get inside the tablet. You can use a computer vacuum to clean your tablet.
    • Your cables are properly and securely connected. Check whether your cables don't have any tear or broken areas. Malfunctioning cables or power adapters can also cause overheating.
    • Check whether your tablet and computer ports are functioning well. Malfunctioning ports can also cause overheating.

    If all of those mentioned above are done and your cables, power adapter and ports are working well but your tablet is still too hot to touch, it is possible that your tablet has an internal defect. All our products purchased from our authorized online and offline resellers come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. Kindly send an email to service@huion.com so we can check whether your tablet is indeed defective and provide the following information;

    • Serial number (found at the back of your tablet, right after S/N)
    • Order number
    • A summary of all the steps you've done
    • A video of your tablet setup that includes your cable connections from your tablet to your computer and to your power source. If your video is over 20MB, please send it through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and provide the link in the email. Please make sure you remove the restrictions if you do upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive.

    Best Regards,
