Trying to Connect Phone to Kamvas 13

Hiya! I've been having trouble connecting my Huion Kamvas 13 to my Google Pixel 3. This is my first time owning a Huion tablet so I'm not sure I'm doing this right. I don't own a USB-C to USB-C cable so I've been trying to connect by using the 3-in-1 cable. I know my power banks is enough volts and I've tried multiple things that are enough but I still get the flashing screen or no signal screen when I try to connect my phone. I know the cable should work since it connected to my laptop multiple times just fine but am I doing something wrong?
