Driver Installation gets stuck halfway

Hi, I just got a Huion H640p and everytime I try to install the driver it gets stuck. I've tried waiting for 3 hours but it stays stuck halfway with no progress and I can't uninstall it properly as the installation file says it's corrupted. Even tried it by disabling the antivirus and installing older driver versions because I thought maybe because my system is slightly older, but that doesn't work either. They all get stuck in the middle. A little help please. The tablet works perfectly on my mobile phone just not on PC.
  • Hi Bernice Lancia, when the driver installation is stuck in the middle, please follow the steps below:

    1. Open your computer's Task Manager window
    2. Click "Processes" then look for the Huion Setup/Uninstall App and expand it.
    3. Click "Windows Command Processor" from the list of the processes under the Huion Setup/Uninstall App.
    4. Click "End task". Below is a reference image on what you need to click on.


    After ending the said task, the installation will then continue and will be completed.

  • My download for the driver freezes and when I try to end the task for the command processor it says an error and I have to end the download,how can I fix that?

  • So I have a H420 and when I download the driver this keeps on popping up and freezing so how can I download the driver

  • Hi Bilal Ahmed, I've referred your issue to our software engineers and since we no longer provide further support or update for version 12 drivers, I'm sorry to let you know that we no longer have a solution to your issue. We suggest you change to a more updated version of your tablet which is the H420X that uses the latest version 15 driver and with 8192 pen pressure.
