New Huion Kamvas Studio 16 will not power on

After a little less than a month in use (March 13 to April 4), my new Kamvas Studio 16 tablet has become an expensive brick. Whereas the unit seems to charge, and the power light near the power button comes on, the tablet won't power up. It's a shame, because the drawing experience was wonderful. It's a disappointing start to this new Huion product, though.

I've contacted customer service for a replacement under warranty, but still haven't heard back after four days.
