Huion KAMVAS Pro 13 will only display screensaver

I recently got a new MacBook Pro after my old Windows Pavillion started getting really slow. I have a Huion KAMVAS Pro 13 that I got last year that worked great on my Windows laptop, but now won't work on my MacBook. All it shows on the screen is my desktop background, and the driver keeps telling me that my device is disconnected. I can move the cursor through the tablet, but it'll only show the movement/actions on my laptop screen. I've tried restarting my laptop, un- and re-installing the driver, and I've checked all my plugs and ports. How can I make my tablet work again?
