h640p works only half of Samsung Galaxy Note screen

Hi. I plugged my Huion h640p to my Samsung Galaxy Note. It connected. I can also see the cursor moving. I can also click things. However, I can only navigate half of the screen. I cannot access the other half using the pen. When I move the cursor to the edge of the tablet, the cursor stops in the middle, as if there is a wall there. Hoping you can advise. Thanks!
  • Hi Sweet Baby Jamie Tan, when using your H640P on an Android phone such as the Samsung Galaxy Note, your tablet will go into phone mode. When on phone mode, you can only use half of the tablet's work area due to the difference between the phone and the tablet's dimensions. When you connect your tablet to a computer, that is where you can use your tablet's entire work area.

  • Hi Orliza.  Thanks for your response.  Indeed, my tablet went into phone mode.  The problem is, the half of my Huion represents also half of my Samsung Galaxy Note.  So, I cannot access the other half of my Samsung Galaxy Note.  For comparison, I have tried my Huion with my mobile phone, and I can access the whole screen, because it's as if my whole screen fits into half of the Huion tablet.  For my Galaxy Note, it's as if my Galaxy Note's screen fits into the whole Huion board, but only half can be accessed by the pen.  Thank you!

  • Hi Sweet Baby Jamie Tan, thank you for the clarification. May you please provide the following so we can look into this further:

    1. Your specific Galaxy Note model
    2. Android version of your Galaxy Note
    3. Please connect your H640P tablet to a computer, install the latest driver version, click on "Settings" (gear icon at the upper right corner of the driver), and provide your tablet's firmware version
    4. If you can provide a video as well, we would really appreciate it so I can forward it to our Technical Specialist

  • Hi Orliza.  Hoping you could provide your team's email address, because the video size seems to exceed the upload limit in this ticket.  Thank you!

  • Hi Sweet Baby Jamie Tan, please send it to service@huion.com. You can also upload it using WeTransfer and share the link here, or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive.
