Huion hs64 does not start and does not work

As of yesterday, my graphics tablet is not working properly. An error occurred while starting Windows. I reinstalled the drivers for the tablet and restored the system. But these steps did not help. Please help solve the problem.

  • Hi Наталія Григораш, this error is usually caused by issues with the Windows system. Kindly try the steps below:

    Method 1:

    1. Uninstall the tablet driver and make sure there are no other tablet drivers installed on your computer, whether from us or other brands. It is best to unplug your tablet and restart your computer.
    2. Download your tablet's latest driver from this link: Huion HS64 Graphic Tablet Drivers. Make sure to unzip the downloaded file.
    3. Open the unzipped folder and right-click on the driver application. Then click "Run as Administrator".
    4. After the driver is installed, open it and reconnect your tablet.

    Method 2:

    1. Locate your Huion Tablet folder from your Program files which is usually found in this link: C:\Program Files.
    2. Right-click on the Huion Tablet folder and click on "Properties". 
    3. On the properties window, click the "Security" tab. Choose the Group or user names that need access to the driver and under "Permissions for..." make sure that the "Allow" is checked in "Full control".
    4. Click OK and restart your computer.

    Other methods are available which is related to fixing the Windows system. You may need to contact Windows support about this if the methods above do not work.
