[H610PROv2] My pen has been teleporting and stuttering at random

Hello, I got this drawing pad for Christmas last year and I've noticed this odd bug or something with the pen that happens at certain intervals. It's been bugging me a lot lately and It's making drawing take longer than it should. This thing can happen when I'm hovering OR when I'm actually drawing. Usually, it will move or "teleport" to the top left corner of my screen, or somewhere in that general direction. I don't remember any instances of the cursor moving to the right side. t only seems to move to the left. Another problem would be random frame drops or lags. Which is bearable. But this teleporting thing is not.

I have the driver or whatever it's called installed. The only difference in settings I have is that it's in mouse mode so I don't get those dumb circles. The driver version number is I've checked my program and know for a fact its not the drawing program I use. it has done this with google.

  • Hi DaveyTheDuck, I'm sorry to know about the issue you are experiencing. Most often than not, this is caused by a defective pen. I will create a ticket for you so I can further assist you through the ticket. We just need to do one more test to be certain that it is a pen problem.

  • I have the exact same issue. Its near impossible to do anything because it happens every 5 seconds and closes the program or minimizes it.

  • Hi Foxina, have you installed the tablet driver and does it show "Device connected"? Kindly try the following steps if you haven't:

    1. Replace your pen nib with a new one.
    2. Properly uninstall the tablet driver by following the steps found in the articles below, unplug your tablet then plug it back in. Test if your tablet works fine without the driver.
    3. Try connecting your tablet using another USB port.
    4. If you have an access to another computer, please try it with another computer and check if you still experience the same issue.

    If the steps above do not resolve your issue, please send an email to service@huion.com with the following information:

    • Serial number (found at the back of your tablet)
    • Purchase order number
    • Link where you purchased your tablet
    • A video that clearly captures your issue and if possible, as you try to do the applicable steps provided above. You can just use your smartphone in taking the video provided that we can clearly see your tablet and your monitor. You can send the video through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and please make sure to remove the restrictions so anyone who has the link will be able to view it.

  • I have the same problem with my tablet. Just starting to try it with Photoshop and can´t even do something in the software.  

  • Hi Ernesto López, do you experience the same issue with other software as well? Have you installed the tablet driver? And does the tablet driver show "Device connected"?

    Kindly try the following steps so we will know the root cause of your issue:

    1. Please uninstall the tablet driver and make sure there are no other tablet drivers installed on your computer, whether from Huion or other brands. Having multiple tablet drivers installed on your computer may cause issues with the tablet driver. You can check out this link: How to Install/Uninstall Huion V14 Driver on Windows (Video)
    2. Unplug your tablet and plug it back in. Then test if the pen works well without the tablet driver. If it does, then the issue is with the driver. Otherwise, it may be caused by other factors. Please proceed to Step #3 below.
    3. Unplug your tablet from your computer again and reboot your computer.
    4. Install the latest driver for your tablet which you can download from this link, Huion Tablet Drivers, and follow the installation process from this article: How to Install Huion Drivers on Windows
    5. After the tablet driver has been successfully installed, please plug your tablet back in and test if the pen works without any issues.

    If the above-mentioned steps do not resolve your issue, please reply to your ticket through email so we can test your tablet's performance further.
