replacement pen

I have an H420 and my pen stopped working. I bought a new pen, but I don't know how to pair it with the tablet, does anyone else know how?

  • Hi Kaylan A., you don't need to pair your pen to your tablet. May I know the model of the pen you've purchased? Basically, the pen model that is compatible to H420 is battery pen, Pen68. If you purchased a different pen model, then that is the reason why it does not work. However, if you purchased the right model, kindly insert a new AAA battery and press the power button and you'll be all set. You can check out this video on how to insert the battery and turn on the pen: How to use the battery pen (Pen 68)?

  • I have purchased the Pen68 and replaced the AAA batteries but there is still no reaction. The tablet says it (the tablet) is connected to my computer, but I am not sure whether or not the tablet is the problem. I have also purchased the pen in a different color, does that make a difference?

  • Hi Kaylan A., the color won't matter as long as the model is correct. Kindly try checking out this video: Tips for fixing the digital pen (PEN68). Otherwise, please try these steps to determine if the problem is with your pen, your tablet or your driver:

    1. Check if the tablet's light turns on when you touch your pen on your tablet's surface.
    2. Please uninstall your tablet driver and unplug your tablet from your computer. Make sure there are no other tablet drivers installed on your computer. Plug your tablet back to your computer and test if your pen works. Don't forget to make sure to turn on the pen.
    3. Unplug your tablet from your computer again and reboot your computer. Turn off your antivirus and close all your drawing programs. Install your tablet's driver which you can download from this link: HUION H420 Graphic Tablet Drivers. You can refer to the following articles to guide you through the installation process:
    4. Connect your tablet back to your computer after you have successfully reinstalled your tablet driver.

If the tablet works fine without the driver, then the issue is with the driver. If the tablet still doesn't, it may be caused by other factors which we will have to further look into. We can then provide the solution when we determine the cause of your issue.

  • Hi. I can't find my stylus for the HuiOn HS640 Model. Can I buy a new replacement pen? If yes, which model? And how do I connect it with the tablet/ phone/ laptop?
  • Hi Apoorva Bijon, do you mean HS64? If it is, then please purchase the Battery-free pen PW100. Here's the link where you can purchase it: Huion Battery-Free Pen PW100. You don't need to do anything since this pen will automatically work with your tablet when you receive it.

However, if your tablet is not the HS64, may you please provide the correct model so I can help you with which pen you need to purchase? Better yet, please send your serial number to service@huion.com so we can check the model ourselves. The serial number can be found at the back of your tablet, right after S/N.

  • Hi. The pen for my Huion H610PRO is no longer working, can I still buy a replacement for it? If I can, which model? Thank you

  • hi, i bought the pen pw100 for a huion NEW 1060p because they said on the website that it is compatible, but it doesnt work for me , what can i do? thank you

  • Hi wiggyjay, I am sorry to inform that PW100 is not compatible with NEW 1060PLUS(8192) or NEW 1060PLUS(2048). They are compatible with PEN80 Here is the link for your reference: How do I choose correct Pen for my Huion tablet?

  • I bought a replacement pen for my huion h610PRO V2 and I don't know how to connect it
  • Hi Kailah, since you have the H610Pro V2 model, did you purchase the battery-free PW100 pen? If you have, there's nothing else you need to do since it will work with your tablet right away. No pairing is needed since our digital pens are using the electromagnetic pen technology.

If you bought the right pen model but it doesn't work, please try the following:

    1. Uninstall your tablet driver and install the latest version. Link: H610Pro V2 Drivers and Manuals
    2. Check if your pen works without the tablet driver. You need to unplug and re-plug the tablet after you uninstall the driver.
    3. Check if your tablet's light indicator glows brighter when you use your pen on your tablet.

Please let me know if the steps above do not resolve your issue so I can create a ticket for you.

  • Hello! My Huion Kamvas pro 13's pen broke recently and I ordered a new one. I was wondering if there is a certain way you'd have to connect it to your tablet and computer?
  • Hi Eleanor, I'm sorry about your pen. May I know the pen model you bought and the first 5-digits of your tablet's serial number? If you have the Kamvas Pro 13 (the full HD version), the compatible pen is the PW507 model. If you have the Kamvas 13 or the Kamvas Pro 13 (2.5K), it should be PW517. If you have the Kamvas Pro 13 (full HD version) and bought the PW517, I'm sorry but that won't work with your tablet.

If you purchased the right pen model for your tablet, there's no need for pairing. It will work right away, since our pens use the electromagnetic technology. You just have to ensure that the driver detects your tablet. Or, you can uninstall and reinstall the driver by following the steps from this link: Huion Support - General Settings.
