Im having a problem with my stylus (Kamvas Pro 12)

so i have just recently bought a Kamvas Pro 12 over a week ago and I'm already having a problem with it. When I lift off my stylus off the tablet to move my cursor somewhere else, it still draws. I have checked and this is not a software issue as when I open discord it selects text instead of moving the cursor. This is not a problem with the nib as I removed it and it kept on doing it. Please help me Forums!

  • Hi Kari F., kindly try the following steps that may help fix the issue:

    • Please change the pen nib with a new one and make sure to insert it firmly. (Note: Clouds of dust on your pen nib will also result in the pen hover issue.)

    • Please make sure there are no other electronic products like laptops or mobile phones nearby. If there are, please put them away and see if it helps, since the pen hover issue may also be caused by electromagnetic interference.
    • Uninstall the driver, and try the tablet (without a driver installed) to see if the problem still persists. This can help determine if this problem is caused by the driver.
    • If you have dropped the pen accidentally, we are sorry about that but this kind of man-made damage is out of our warranty. We suggest you purchase a new pen from our official online store or through Amazon.

    If you still experience the issue after doing all the steps above, kindly provide the following information to to be further assisted:

    • Purchase order number
    • Product serial number (found at the back of the tablet)
    • Link where you purchased your tablet
    • A video that clearly captures your issue. If you can take a video as you do the steps above, that would be very helpful. You can use your phone in taking the video and send it to WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive. If it's the latter, please make sure your remove the restrictions so anyone who has the link will be able to view it.
