Switching between pen to mouse

Hello

I have just purchased a Huion 640P pen tablet and i needed it to use with training slides where i could mark and draw certain things and when i move the mouse or click the mouse must take over.

But it doesnt happen in this tablet, once i use the pen it also makes the mouse use to pen mode, clicking mouse with a wacom tablet use to move my slide to next but with Huion it starts acting like pen drawing. Which means the pen funcationality is taken over by mouse as well.

I tried everything changing options in the settings of the software but nothing works.

Feeling like did a mistake , must have bought a Wacom borrowed from a colleague and it was working so well when i used pen it would allow to me draw and when i kept the pen away and used mouse it would start using the clicks and mouse functionality.

Is there a solution to this ?

Hi Abdullah, thank you for reporting your problem and I'm sorry to know about your challenges in using your H640P tablet. Kindly try setting one of the pen's button to work as a mouse left button by following the steps below:
1. Open your tablet driver and click on Digital Pen
2. Click on the function label for one of the pen buttons. This will bring up the "Press Keys Setting" pop up window.
3. Click the "Mouse Button" check box and click "Mouse Left Button" and uncheck all the rest of the check boxes.
4. Click "OK" then click "Apply"
5. On your training slides, hover the pen a little above the tablet and click on the designated pen button.

I've got Huion Kamvas Pro 22...the pen wont wake up. It worked last night and now this morning, it wont wake up. My sketchbook program works fine but the pen is useless.

Hi Nancie, thank you for reporting your problem.
1. Does the pen light up when you tap it on the tablet's surface?
2. Does it happen only in your sketchbook program? If it works in other programs, kindly try to reinstall sketchbook and check if your pen works after reinstalling it.
3. Kindly test the pen without the tablet driver. Does it work without the driver? If it does, then the issue is with the driver. I suggest you reinstall the latest driver which you can download from this link, Kamvas Pro 22 Drivers, and make sure your tablet is not connected to your computer while doing so. Else, it will mess up with the installation process.
4. However, if the pen still does not work without the tablet driver and even in other drawing programs, please send the following information to service@huiontablet.com for further assistance:
  Purchase order number
  Product serial number which can be found at the back of the tablet
  Link where you purchased your tablet
  A video that clearly shows your issue (you can send the video through WeTransfer or upload it to Google Drive and make sure that you set the permission to grant access to anyone who has a link to view it)
