Pen draws/ moves without even touching the tabled


I just got new HUION INSPIROY H950P. Literally unboxed an hour ago. Installed the drivers and everything is working fine except the pen. It moves around without even touching the tabled. When I try to click on something it doesn't work and I need to do it from the computer. Sometimes the pen drags files around the desktop on her own. Drawing in Photoshop is a nightmare. As soon as you choose the pen and move around the pen in the air you start drawing and can't stop until you change the tool.

Is there a way to fix this problem? 

  • I have H950P and... I don't have any problems with it and also I have updated the firmware and it really works with phone.

    Maybe you need to change some settings in Windows like touch screen and pen support etc.?

    Maybe you have a laptop with touch screen?

    You can also reinstall drivers and try to update the firmware of the tablet (or reinstall it).

    Thank you for reporting your problem. I'm sorry to know that your pen is not working fine. May you please try to change your pen's nib and make sure to insert it firmly. If that doesn't resolve your issue, please try to uninstall and reinstall the driver. Make sure that you disconnect your tablet from you computer while doing so.

  • Hello, I have the same problem, I received my tablet today and for hours I could not find a solution, I tried everything they say here, when I draw a ghost line that is connected to my pen, even if I do not touch the tablet. It doesn't really work with windows, pull everything in its path. I tried it with my android phone and it only works with the Huion app, but it doesn't work with sketchbook. Please any other solution?

  • I have the same problem with my tablet (WH1409 v2). The pen draws without contact with the pad, moves files about my desktop and folders and clicks. Any effective solution in view?
  • did any of you got your solution? i am having this issue also. yesterday my product reached and from then i am struggling to sort out this issue, i tried all driver option for my one (H610pro V2) and also i tried new windows on my pc , still not solving my issues. the pen is working before touching the surface and also not allowing me to click and select things. the pen just have no control but pen pressure is perfect.

  • Good day everyone, this type of issue is what is called pen hovering issue. Kindly refer to this article for some troubleshooting steps: Hovering Issue with Huion Digital Pen. If the issue is not resolved, please take a video as you redo the steps provided and send it to You can just use your phone in taking the video so long as it clearly captures the issue and the steps you've done. Please include the following information:

    • Purchase order number
    • Link where you placed your order
    • Product serial number (found at the back of your tablet)

    Uninstall the last driver, then download an older version before and installed it.

  •  I have  a  huion  pi lefted the pen  13  i  got  it  in May 2020 and  yesterday night  I was trying to animate so while animating  i left up the pen i relived it was  moving without  touching  the  screen

  • Hi Taym.abdulhak, kindly try the steps below that may help resolve your issue:

    1. Change your pen nib with a new one and make sure there are no specks of dust on your pen tip or inside it. Having dusts in your pen can cause this issue.
    2. Put all unnecessary electronic devices away from your tablet since these devices may cause electromagnetic interference between your pen and tablet.
    3. Uninstall your tablet driver, unplug your tablet from your computer then plug it back in. Then test if you still have the same issue even without the driver.
    4. Try using a different computer and check if it's the same with another computer.
    5. If you have dropped your pen and this happened after you've dropped it, then this issue was caused by the drop in which case, the pen is now broken. Unfortunately, this is not covered by the warranty so we can't send a pen replacement to you. Thus, you can just purchase a new pen from this link:

    If you haven't dropped your pen and all 4 steps above do not resolve your issue, please send the following information to so we can test your pen's performance further:

    • Serial number (found at the back of your tablet)
    • Purchase order number
    • Version of the driver you've installed and tried so far

    I am using Huion HS611, sometimes it has a problem. touch bar and the all the touch functions are working automatically without touching. just now unboxed! driver is upto date. any solutions?
