Huoin Kamvas Pro 13 issue

Hey all,


I got my Huoin Kamvas Pro 13 tablet last year around November and I started picking up issues.

This happened two weeks ago suddenly whilst I was drawing.

My pen seemed to hover or not respond at all even to pen presses onto the tablet.

I changed the nib, made sure that it spins, made sure everything is clean but it still is not responding to my light taps or movements onto the screen.


So, I reinstalled the driver, re installed everything, replugged the cords and nothing.

Im still at this problem.


Anyone know how to fix?

    I have the same problem here! I brought the Kamvas Pro 13 last year in November as well. Today I used it for drawing and after a few hours, the pen suddenly stopped working! Either that or the display is not registering it. 


    I tried to reinstall too, unplugged it as well and nothing helped. 


    Thanks in advance if anyone knows how to fix this. 

  • Just got my tablet last night and I too am now dealing with a tablet that doesn't see its pen. It worked great for a brief period...

  • I'm not sure but it's appear that there are some problems with this tablet's drivers. Right now in the official website you can download a "beta version" of the most recent drivers I think. However, what OS do you use?
  • Yeah same just had it happen to me, pen would randomly freeze mid stroke and not follow the pen when hovering. Reinstalled everything and even tried old drivers nothing fixed it yet. 

  • my pen doesn´t work aas well, but i notice that i is becouse the usb cable is no working anymore, it started conecting and disconecting all the time and then the next day i started the kamvas and the cable was no longer working. I just made a ticket suport and now I´m afreid that Huion will not respond me. 

  • I also have a problem with my kamvas13pro, when trying to update the firmware the tablet stopped being recognized by the pc, test on another pc and nothing, install drivers on a mac and does not recognize it either, install old drivers and nothing, fortunately huion responded to all my requirements, However I wanted to know if someone else had this problem, the screen turns on and is recognized as a second screen, plugging the USB cable in win 10 pro recognizes an artifact, but when you install the drivers of huion this does not recognize it and obviously the pencil does not work, someone knows how to make a factory reset to these tablets? any help is useful, thank you.

    • Purchase order number
    • Product serial number
    • Link where you purchased the item
    • A video showing your issues clearly

    If the pen issue only happens on specific software or programs, please provide the following information as well, in addition to the above requested information:

    • Version of driver installed
    • What software or program used and its version

  • hellow, any chance to hard reset o factory reset to de kamvas 13 pro? after instal firmware my pc not recognize a tablet, only recognize a second screen monitor, thanks!


  • I have the same issues and change the cable 3 times. The issue is the kamvas 13 the huion is going to replace mine. I think is the only solution for it

  • Hi Gonzalo Uribe, did you encounter an error when you updated the firmware on your Kamvas Pro 13? 


    Kindly try the following steps that may help resolve your issue:

    1. Unplug your tablet from your computer.
    2. Kindly follow the instructions below to update the firmware:

    3. Uninstall the tablet driver, reboot your computer and reinstall the tablet driver again. Make sure your tablet is not connected to your computer as you install the tablet driver.


    Sometimes, reinstalling the firmware will resolve the issue. Please send an email to service@huion.com with the following information, if the reinstalling the firmware and the driver still do not resolve your issue:

    • Purchase order number
    • Product serial number (found at the back of your tablet)
    • Link where you purchased your order
    • A video that clearly shows your issue. We would appreciate if you can show us what the error you've encountered, if you have, and other relevant windows on your screen that can help us determine the cause of your issue. You can send your video through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive. If it's the latter, make sure you remove the restriction on your video so anyone who has the link would be able to view it.

  • Just purchased Kamvas Pro 13 tablet. First time user and the instruction manual is not clear on use of buttons and how to set them and how do you use the function button on the bottom?

  • Hi Joe & Karin Mainello, you can setup the tablet and pen buttons to replace mouse or shortcut key functions. First, you will have to install the tablet driver by following either of these articles (NOTE: Please do not connect your tablet to your computer as you install the driver, turn of your antivirus and close all your drawing programs):


    After you've installed the driver, this is when you connect your tablet to your computer. When the driver shows "Device connected", you can then configure the buttons. You can also configure the buttons for each drawing software if the shortcut keys are different from each software. You can check this article for the steps: How to Customize Press Keys and Digital Pen Button Functions for Specific Software. If you don't want to configure the buttons for each software, you can still follow the same steps and just choose "All Apps". 


    As for the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu button at the bottom, this is used to adjust the tablet display:


    Please press it for around 5 seconds to launch the menu and use the other tablet buttons to adjust the display settings. Once done, you can press the OSD menu button again for around 5 seconds to close the said menu.
