Keeping your Kamvas Pro pen display clean helps maintain image clarity and ensures a smooth drawing experience. The pen display uses a protective glass surface with a hardness rating of up to 7H, giving it stronger durability and better resistance to pressure than ordinary screens. However, even with this level of protection, the surface will still accumulate dust, fingerprints, sweat, and occasional oil stains over time. Follow the steps below to safely clean the screen without damaging the surface.
What You'll Need:
- A soft, clean microfiber cloth
- A small amount of screen‑safe cleaning solution (optional)
Cleaning Steps:
- Power off and unplug the device
Turn off your Kamvas Pro and disconnect all cables. This protects the device and makes smudges easier to see. - Remove loose dust and particles
Use the included cleaning cloth—or any soft microfiber cloth—to gently remove dust and loose particles from the screen's surface. These types of cloth prevent particles from scratching the display during deeper cleaning. - Lightly dampen the cloth (if needed)
If the screen has fingerprints or smudges:- Slightly moisten a corner of the cloth with water or a screen‑safe cleaner.
- Please avoid using cleaners that contain 70–75% isopropyl alcohol or any harsh chemicals, as these may damage the screen.
- Never spray liquid directly onto the screen.
- Wipe the screen in smooth, gentle motions
Clean the surface using soft, circular or horizontal strokes. Avoid pressing too hard to protect the anti‑glare and anti‑fingerprint coatings. - Dry the screen
Use the dry part of the cloth to remove any remaining moisture and restore a clean, streak‑free finish.
After cleaning, remember not to turn on the device right away. Leave the device to dry before turning it on.
Remember to wash the used cloth with a mild soap.
Important Notes
- Do not use alcohol (such as isopropyl alcohol of up to 70-75% alcohol content), acetone, or other harsh chemicals.
- Avoid paper towels or rough fabrics that can scratch the screen.
- Do not allow liquid to seep into the edges of the display.
- Clean the screen regularly to maintain optimal performance.
