How do I connect my graphic tablet to my Mac computer?

Most of our graphic tablets use a Micro USB/USB-C to USB-A cable. If your Mac computer doesn't have a USB-A port, you need to use an adapter. It may be a USB-A to USB-C or USB-A to Thunderbolt adapter.

I don't have a Mac computer, but I have an iPhone. Can I connect my graphic tablet to my iPhone?
Currently, iOS is not compatible with our graphic tablets. Only Mac computers on MacOS 10.12 or later are compatible.
My graphic tablet has a USB-A cable, but my Mac computer doesn't have a USB-A port.
If your Mac computer doesn't have a USB-A port, you can use an OTG adapter. Most of our graphic tablets come with a USB-A to USB-C adapter. Connect the Micro USB/USB-C end to your tablet, the USB-A end to the adapter, and the adapter to your computer.
Can I use a USB-C to USB-C cable with my graphic tablet, and does it need to be a Huion brand?

Not all graphic tablets are compatible with USB-C to USB-C cables, even with a USB-C port, such as the HS611 and H1161 graphic tablets. These graphic tablets can only work with a USB-C to USB-A cable. If you need to connect this to a USB-C port on your computer or phone, use an OTG adapter (USB-A to USB-C). If you're not using our USB-C to USB-C cable, ensure that your cable can transmit data.

Which graphic tablet models work with a USB-C to USB-C cable?
Since not all models with USB-C ports work with a USB-C to USB-C cable, here are a few models that work with this type of cable: RTS-300, RTM-500, RTP-700, H420X, H580X, H610X, Inspiroy 2 series, Inspiroy Dial 2, Inspiroy Giano and Inspiroy Keydial (KD200). If you're not using our USB-C to USB-C cable, ensure that your cable can transmit data.

Tablet Display

How do I connect my tablet display to my Mac computer?

Tablet displays need 3 connections to work: power, data, and display connections. Some of our tablet displays use 3-in-1 or 3-in-2 cables, while others use separate cables. Moreover, some models can work with a full-featured USB-C to USB-C cable where all 3 connections can be handled by one cable. However, 22-inch displays and above need more power, so an additional cable connection directly to a power outlet is needed. My Mac computer doesn't have an HDMI port.
You need to use an adapter if your Mac computer doesn't have an HDMI port. You can use an HDMI to Mini DisplayPort (MiniDP), Thunderbolt, Thunderbolt 2, Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, or USB-C adapter. Older Macs may have a VGA, DisplayPort, or DVI port, so you can also use an HDMI to VGA/DVI/DisplayPort adapter. You can check the various adapters used on Mac computers here: Various Mac Adapters.

If your Mac computer doesn't have a USB-A port, you need to use a USB-A to USB-C or Thunderbolt adapter.
Can I use my HDMI to USB-A adapter?
Sadly, USB-A ports can only handle power and data connection. Your tablet would not receive any display connection from your computer, resulting in a "No signal" error. Thus, we do not recommend using this type of adapter.
Can I use any USB-C to USB-C cable?
Not all USB-C to USB-C cables are full-featured, meaning not all can handle the power, data, and display connections. Some can only handle power, while others can handle data and power. Thus, ensure your USB-C to USB-C cable is a full-featured one. Otherwise, it will result in a "No signal" issue.
