Really need help with H610PRO (8192) pen

First problem: The pen draws ONLY when I hold upper button on it, or when I hold the right mouse button. If i do, it works normally.

Second problem: The tablet reacts to the pen even when it is about like 4 cm above the surface (I fixed this once before, but all forum posts about this issue are gone now).

If this matters: as soon as I bring the pen close to the tablet, the driver window already shows about 50% pressure. It is impossible to have less than half pressure at all.

It looks like I may have damaged the pressure sensor, but I really don’t want to believe that.

what I already tried: Reinstalled the driver (latest version and older versions), Rebooted the computer, Changed pen button assignments, Replaced the pen nib multiple times, Changed USB ports, Changed Windows Ink settings, Disabled Mouse Mode, Game Mode, and Windows Ink, Adjusted pen pressure sensitivity, Tested the tablet on another PC

If there is anything else I can try, please tell me. I’m honestly losing my mind — I need a working pen like right now and I have no idea what to do. Pen models compatible with my tablet are not available right now, so I’d really like to revive this one instead of replacing it (at least for now). t-t.....btw: i have an original huion tablet with official drivers with original pen

  • Hi, Dan Ley. So far, you have done the basic troubleshooting steps as mentioned in this article: Hovering Issue with Huion Digital Pen. Do you still expernience the issue even without the driver? You can try uninstalling the driver from your PC, restart your PC, and try using the tablet without the driver. If it still draws while hovering, your pen is most likely broken. I suggest purchasing a new one.

Since the H610Pro series have various versions, you can check out the compatible pens for each version below:

    * Note: Please update your country at the top-right area before placing your order.
