Huion NEW 1060 PLUS(8192) detected as INSPIROY in V15 software

I'm not able to get V15 drivers/software to work with my tablet: Huion NEW 1060 PLUS(8192). It gets detected as connected, just as wrong model as shown in attached image. Nothing works in V15, even physical keys on tablet. I can replicate it with both v15.7.6.1314 and v15.7.6.756.

On the other hand V14 works just fine, to be specific v14.8.90.1126.

I tried reinstalling V15 software multiple times, with little to no success. I'm running Windows 11, if that helps.

  • Hi Ajtos, we have several models of the 1060 series. Do you have the New 1060Plus (8192) version? If you do, then the name on the driver is correct. 

    Regarding your press keys not working, it looks like it is due to a problem with your driver or the driver installation or your firmware version, since I see that the driver detects your tablet. So, please update your tablet's firmware by following the steps in this article: How to Update Your Huion Tablet's Firmware(Windows). If you still have problems after the firmware update, please follow these steps:

    1. Disconnect your tablet from your computer.
    2. Go to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features and uninstall the tablet driver. Ensure to uninstall all tablet drivers (v15, v14, and v12). 
    3. Open a folder, go to the following following folders, and delete all Huion tablet files and folders you can find there.
      1. C:\
      2. C:\Program Files
      3. C:\Program Files (x86)
    4. Close all your running programs and turn off your antivirus.
    5. Reinstall the driver by following these steps: How to Install Huion Drivers on Windows
    6. It would be better if you restart your computer after reinstalling the driver. 

    If you need further help, please email the following to service@huion.com for further assistance:

    1. Serial # (found on the back of your tablet, which starts with S/N)
    2. Your computer operating system and its version
    3. Your drawing program and its version - list all that applies
    4. The driver version you installed and all other versions you've tried
    5. Firmware version (after you update the firmware) - similar as that above
    6. Link to a short video of the issue you're experiencing. Upload the video to Dropbox, Google Drive, or other online storage, remove the restriction, and share the unrestricted link with us.

  • I don't think this model supports updating the firmware, it isn't on the list provided on download page for firmware updater. Still I gave it a shot, and Firmware Update Tool does nothing as show on attached image (couldn't find an option to change language to English, so it is in Polish).

    2. Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2 OS Build 26100.3775

    3. I don't use that tablet with drawing programs. It doesn't work in Windows at all.

    4. NOT WORKING: v15.7.6.1314 and v15.7.6.756

    WORKING:  v14.8.90.1126

    Those are all drivers that are available on download page for this specific tablet. I can try different versions, if you can provide a link to driver.

    6. I'm not sure what I'm about to capture. Cleaning and installing V15 yields same results: pen doesn't work, neither those physical keys on tablet. In V14 everything works just fine.


  • Hi Ajtos, thank you for providing additional information. I would like to let you know that I removed your tablet's serial number since this is sensitive information. serial numbers are unique to each unit and we do not recommend sharing it publicly.

    Since your tablet works fine on an older driver version, I believe an outdated firmware is causing your issue. Thus, please download this firmware update tool instead, and follow the included instructions: New1060Plus(8192) Firmware Update.

  • Downloaded a provided tool and followed instructions in the doc: disconnect the tablet, launch the software, click connect, connect the tablet. Sadly nothing happens.

    Tablet isn't detected. Some other things I tried:

    - launching the tool as administrator

    - switching the tablet to different USB port

    - cleaning, uninstalling all tablet drivers before launching firmware updater

    Still no success. Any advice?
