Just bought a Kamvas Pro 16 V2 and now the screen flickering

I've only just bought this tablet and when I went to change the resolution the tablet immediately started flickering the screen even went white. I tried changing back to the original resolution being 1280 x 720 . but it changed nothing. I've tried un plugging it, changing my cables to a different output. But nothing seems to work. The pen and buttons still work but the screen is just having a real hard time.

Also in the image, you can still see the previous software I had open, which was OpenToonz and now its kinda merging with the background image.

  • Hi, Tori. Your Kamvas Pro 16 V2 resolution should be 1920 x 1080 (Full HD). If it flickers when you change the resolution, please try the steps below to resolve the flickering issue on your pen display:

    1. Loose cable connections can cause flickering, so please disconnect and reconnect the cables and make sure they are securely connected. Also, please make sure your cables and ports are free of dust or particles.
    2. Ensure the power supplied to the tablet is stable.Ensure the power adapter is connected directly to a wall outlet and not to an extension outlet. Try connecting to another power outlet.
    3. Ensure that the power cable (of your 3-in-1 cable) is securely connected to the power adapter. Twist it to lock it in place.
    4. Ensure your display refresh rate is set correctly. Our pen display's refresh rate is 60Hz. On your Mac computer, go to the display settings > select your tablet, then set it to 60Hz.
    5. Update your graphics card driver. If your computer doesn't automatically detect a new driver, uninstall it and restart your computer. (NOTE: Please make sure you are connected to the internet. Your display may turn black after uninstalling the graphics card driver. Please don't worry; this is normal. Your computer will automatically detect a new driver after you restart your computer.)

As for the burn-in issue your experiencing, please try the steps in this article: How to Fix Burn-in Image or Ghosting on Your Pen Display. Most burn-in issue is resolved after performing these steps.

If you need further assistance, please email the following to service@huion.com:

    1. Order number
    2. Serial number (starts with S/N, which can be found on the back of your tablet)
    3. Your MacOS version and a screenshot of the "About this Mac" window
    4. Link to a video of your cable connections from your tablet to your computer and power source (ensure it's to a wall outlet). Check that the link is unrestricted, so our support team can easily access it.
