Unplugging Kamvas 13 causes sporadic freezing

Since the most recent Windows 11 update, I have found that unplugging my Kamvas 13 tablet after usage causes it to freeze intermittently. The freezing occurs every 20-30 seconds, and lasts 1-2 seconds. Everything on the screen freezes EXCEPT the mouse, which moves fine.

  • Hi Curmudgeon Media, since you are using a Lenovo computer, uninstall the "LenovoAppStore" and restart your computer.

If this won't resolve your issue, please try the following steps:

    1. Uninstall and reinstall your tablet driver. Sometimes, the update would cause some conflicts with our driver so it is best to reinstall it.
    2. If that step won't work, please try using the tablet without the driver (ensure to disconnect and reconnect your tablet after uninstalling the driver) and see if the intermittent freezing still occurs. Better yet, restart your computer after uninstalling the driver so we can check.
    3. Check if the intermittent freezing also occurs on another computer. If it only happens on your computer, then the issue might be due to the recent Windows update. Please try to rollback to the previous Windows version.
    4. Repair Wintab - on the driver, go to Settings > "About" tab > Software diagnosis > click "Repair" to the right of Wintab32.
    5. Open the "Device Manager" on your computer. Expand the "Human Interface Device" category, and check if there are multiple entries for "Huion HID" in the list. If multiple entries exist, uninstall the additional ones and keep only one. Restart your computer after making the changes.
    6. Access the "Services" menu on your computer. To do this, type "Services" in the search bar located on the taskbar. Look for services named "Logitech LampArray Translation Services" or "LampArrayTranslation Services". If found, "disable" the service and restart your computer.
    7. If you are using Logitech products and have the G-Hub or Logitech driver installed, uninstall it. Then, restart your computer.
    8. If the issue persists, you may consider reinstalling your Windows operating system.

    Best Regards,
