Solution to the Static or Snowflake Issue

Does your screen show static or snowflakes similar to the picture below?

If you are using an AMD graphics card, please disable HDCP from the Override option in the AMD Settings. Please refer to the instructions and video below:

  1. Right-click on your desktop and click your AMD Settings.
  2. Go to your "Display" tab and choose your tablet display.
  3. Look for the specs or information and the Override button.
  4. Within the Override option, turn off or disable the HDCP Support and confirm the action when prompted.
  5. Restart your computer.

If you are using the recent AMD software, you can refer to the instructions and video below:

  1. Connect your tablet to your computer and ensure that your computer detects your tablet.
  2. Right-click on your desktop and click your AMD Settings.
  3. Click the Settings icon, the gear-looking icon in the upper-right corner.
  4. Click "Display" and choose your tablet display if you see multiple display options.
  5. Expand the "Override" option and disable the HDCP Support. You may be warned if this is the first time you've opened this option. Just confirm the action.
  6. Click "Restart Now" to restart your computer, and you'll be able to see the display on your tablet after the restart.

If you are using a graphics card from another brand that is not AMD, but the brand of your computer/laptop's processor is AMD, it means your integrated graphics is AMD which will also cause the static or snowflake issue when the video signal input/output is through the integrated graphics card. You can change the settings from the integrated graphics card to your dedicated graphics card to avoid the static or snowflake issue. If you don't have a dedicated graphics card or prefer to use your integrated graphics card, you can do so, but you still need to disable the HDCP Support, as mentioned above.
