Pen not working

My GT-156 V2 art pen has suddenly stopped working. I looked up multiple answers, but none of them worked. A few days ago is when it started. I don't have a battery-powered one, and the charging one is the problem. I've tried restarting everything, charging the pen again for multiple days, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. The driver says everything is connected but the pen won't take over my cursor.

    1) Does the pen indicator light turn on when the pen is charging?
    2) Can the pen move the cursor or draw after being fully charged or when being connected to the charging cable?
    3) Does the pen work with or without a driver installed?
    4) Please provide a video that shows the issue clearly. You can upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and make sure to remove the restriction so anyone who has the link can video it.

    Once we know more about the issue, we will creat a ticket for you so we can look into this.

  • Hello again,  and sorry for the late response. 


    The pen indicator doesn't turn on when using the pen, it hasn't been for a while but the pen usually still works. The pen has been charging for the past two days and still isn't working, I tried leaving it on the cable to draw but nothing different happened. I have the driver installed and even uninstalled and reinstalled it but nothing happened. I've provided a video of me trying to work the cursor on my digital art pad, but alas, nothing happens.

  • I am not able to download the file you sent me. I have a MacBook Air, I've been trying to download it but it's not working. Is there another way that I can fix my pen without the installation?

  • Hi Eggie Arts, I'm sorry about that. Do you happen to have an access to a Windows computer? You can run the software on a Windows computer and test your tablet from there. We will further reply to you on your ticket as well.

  • New tablet H950P. Pen not working. light on tablet responds and tablet indicates that it is connected.tried reinstalling drivers, with no change

  • Hi brian cogger, does your pen work without the driver installed? If it does without the driver, then the issue is with the driver. But if it still doesn't, we will further assist you through your ticket since we need to test your pen and tablet using our software.

  • Hi Dennis Alvarado, I'm sorry to let you know that the GT-156HD V2 is only compatible with the pen with rechargeable battery PE330 pen model. However, PE330 has been discontinued. If you need to purchase a new pen, you can just purchase the PEN68D from this link: Huion Battery Pen PEN68D. Please be advised though that only models that were manufactured from January 2017 onwards are compatible with this pen. We regret to let you know that we no longer have pens compatible with those manufactured before 2017.
