HUION NEW 1060PLUS pen stops working/connecting

I got my HUION NEW 1060PLUS tablet a couple months ago and ever since I first used it, the pen won't connect wirelessly and while I'm drawing using the tablet the pen just randomly stops working and won't re-connect even if I unplug and replug everything in. I have the latest driver, I've tried a lot of things but I don't understand why it randomly stops working after being fine for a while. I thought it might be the fact that the pen wire sometimes touches the tablet but it happens even when the wire doesn't touch it. Please help, I'm struggling to draw or do anything with this tablet. It's extremely frustrating.
