Pen won't align with my cursor correctly

I recently downloaded the Huion driver on my Windows laptop so I could change the button commands on my Kamvas Pro 16 tablet. However, I ran into a problem once the driver finished installing. With the driver installed my pen doesn't line up correctly with the cursor. This makes drawing very difficult. The cursor changed shape as well. It used to be a star shape. Now it looks like the pointer arrow on my laptop. I uninstalled the driver and it went back to normal, but it didn't save the changes I made to the buttons. Does anyone know of a way where I can keep the driver installed and fix my pen so it aligns correctly? I added some videos to help you understand the problem.
