Huion Kamvas 13 flickering screen issue

Hello, I just got my Kamvas 13 today and works just fine, I just noticed the screen flickering between normal colors and very bright colors... I don't want this to damage my tablet, so can anyone help me? Is there a solution for this?

  • Sure, you will notice the "flicker" on second 7-8 it happens very often and it's very annoying and makes me feel that somethings wrong with the tablet

  • Hi Alvaro José, thank you for the videos. Does this happen even when you are using a different drawing program or even if you don't open any programs? Does the flicker only happen in your tablet and not your computer screen?


    Please make sure that you connect your tablet to a power source that provides a stable power connection. If you have access to another computer, kindly try connecting your tablet to a different computer and check if the flicker still happens. If it does, there are 2 possible causes of your issue; cable connection or your tablet itself. If replacing the cable does not resolve your issue, then the issue is caused by your tablet. Kindly send an email to service@huion.com with the following information:

    • Serial number (found at the back of your tablet, right after S/N)
    • Order number
    • The link to the videos you've provided to me. You can upload these videos through Dropbox or Google Drive and share the link.

  • I have not tried on a different computer just in case that's the problem, what should I do? In order to make it work on the one that I'm trying?
  • Hi Alvaro José, if your tablet works fine with a different computer, kindly check your computer's HDMI port if it's working well by connecting a different display screen. If the port is working well, please check your display driver or graphics card driver. You may need to update these drivers.

  • Hi, I'm using a huion kamvas pro 13  when i was work in the screen has flickering more after few min the screen has completly  it turns different. please check my issues..

  • Hi Jai hari haran, thank you for providing the videos. Kindly try the following steps that may help resolve your issue or at least determine what could've caused it:

    1. If you are using an AMD Radeon graphics card, kindly check out this article: Solution to the Snowflake Issue.
    2. Connect a different display to your computer and check if the connection is fine. 
    3. If you have access to a different computer, connect your tablet to a different unit and check if you encounter the same issue.

  • Hello, I'm facing a problem with my tablet from a year when I buy it, my screen multiple of times become black when I start and I want to use my tablet, and its work randomly I didn't find a way to fix it. Also many times it works but My PC do not detected it.

  • Hi Tigirllile, I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with the tablet. May I clarify with you if your tablet model is kamvas 13. How do you connect the tablet to your computer, use 3in1 cable or USB C to USB C cable? If you use 3in1 cable, do you plug the power cable directly into wall outlet? Does the driver show "connected" when the issue appears.

  • Hi Jessica Wen, no I use huion 16 4k plus. I used to connect by 3in1, and I have tried to use USB C to USB C but it didn't work. No I do not plug the power directly into the wall outlet. The driver shows that it connected but the screen turns black, and sometimes it connect but I can't find huion screen to select the area in the driver.
