Not working on MacOS Big Sur

Driver stopped working on MacOS Big Sur. The update is out now for recent macs. 

The Driver will always say it's disconnected no matter if the tablet service is restarted or the latest driver is re-installed.

It's not my tablet because it works as expected on Windows.

    I have just installed Big Sur and am having the same problems listed above, "device disconnected" in the app and only limited use with my 610pro. the stylus works but the buttons on it dont and only some of the buttons on the tablet itself. I have followed the instructions listed above with several re installations and restarts, downloaded the latest drivers (14.5.0.201120) but still the same problem. Am I missing something?

  • Hi Gavin Otter, may I know the specific 610Pro model you have? We have several version of this tablet and if the v.14.5.0.201120 doesn't work, it is possible that you have the H610Pro 2048 version. If it is, kindly install the attached v.12.1.0 driver and follow the attached instructions as well.


    If you are not sure which H610Pro tablet version you have, kindly send your tablet's serial number to service@huion.com so we can check.

  • Hi, I have a Kamvas 22 plus and it doesn’t work with Mac big sur, I downloaded the latest driver from your site, what should i do? Beatrice

    I have similar problems as the other customers.  I have a mac book pro, and it has Big Sur installed.  I just got a KAMVAS 16 and tried to download the drivers and the manuals, and the mac will not allow me to download either.  The buttons on my KAMVAS don't work, but I can see my mac screen reflected on my KAMVAS screen.  Whatever screen changes I do on the MAC are displayed on the KAMVAS.  I can't get any of the other options to work....like the function keys, the brushes, or any other things with the stylus.

    Hi Carolyn Steele, when you say "mac will not allow to download" our driver, do you mean you have problems downloading our driver from this link: Huion Kamvas 16 Tablet Display Drivers. If you have the Kamvas 16 2021, are you using the 3-in-1 cable or USB-C to USB-C cable? If you are using the 3-in-1 cable, please make sure that you connect the USB-A end of the said cable to your computer as well. If you are using the USB-C to USB-C cable, this may be due to your Security & Privacy settings.

  • We just got the new Huion Pro 16 and a MacBook Pro with Big Sur for Christmas and it does not work.  It works on my dad's old mac that has Mojave OS installed though.  We tried using the driver listed in the latest comment and it still won't recognize the pen tablet as a display!  Did we just waste our money?

  • I have 420 and the pressure sensitivity is no longer working with Mac OS Big Sur. I installed the latest driver (v 12.0.5) but no luck. When will the new driver be available for 420?

  • Hi Won Sim, please use the attached driver version 12.1.1 for your 420 tablet on Big Sur. I've also attached the driver installation instructions.

  • Have you release drivers for the Kamvas 22 Plus that work with Mac OS Big Sur? My brand new tablet does not map, all disconnected re the driver info. Thank you,

  • i had the same problem and they told me to do this so i solved it: “You can use the mirror mode so that it will duplicate your computer screen”
