I can only stop it by using the mouse, for example to get to draw. and then use the stylus.

Hi Nina Edelman, your issue may be caused by different factors such as the cable, port, tablet driver (if you have installed it), or the tablet itself. May you please try the following steps to help us eliminate the possible causes:
1. If you have installed the tablet driver, please uninstall it through the Control Panel if you are using Windows or by clicking on the uninstall program for the said driver.
2. Unplug your tablet from your computer then plug it back in after a few seconds. Check if your tablet works well without the driver. If it does, then the issue is caused by the driver. Proceed to #3 below. Otherwise, proceed to #4.
3. Unplug your tablet from your computer again, reboot your computer, turn off your antivirus and close all your drawing programs. Install the latest driver for your tablet which you can download from this link: https://www.huion.com/download/.
4. But if the issue still remains, we will have to further check on it. Please let us know by sending an email to service@huion.com with the following information:
  Serial number (found at the back of your tablet)
  Purchase order number
  Link where you purchased your tablet
  A link to the video that clearly captures your issue. You can just use your phone in taking the video provided that we can clearly see your tablet and your screen. Please send the video through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and make sure to remove the restriction so anyone who has the link will be able to view it.
