My Pen for my GT-191 isnt working

The pen for my GT-191 has stopped working! It wont charge and it wont interact with the graphics tablet at all. I was given 2 pens with the tablet when i brought it. One of them worked fine, but the other one didn't work (1/2 of the pens worked out of the box). I lost the original charger for the pen, so i thought that, that was the issue. However, when i tried to charge the pen, there was no LED indication to show if it was charging. And when i tried using it after, it wouldn't work. Could you please help me?

    To troubleshoot, please check the following so we can help you further:

    1. Can the pen move the cursor or draw after being fully charged or while connected to the charging cable?
    2. Does the driver panel show "Device connected" while using the pen?
    3. Does the pen work with or without any driver installed?

  • Sorry for the long wait.  I didn't have time to check up on the issue. I found out that the charger that i ordered wasn't working as intended, so i had to remove some of the material on the end of it, because the metal bit wasn't going into the pen's charging port properly. Apparently the pen was just out of battery! thanks again for the help.

    I am having the same problem. My device says it's connected, but both pens won't work. The charger seems to be working because the led lights up. 

  • Hi Alice Boewe, do your pens work only when connected to the charging cable? If that's the case, it means that the Lithium-Ion battery inside your pen can no longer hold a charge. We can send a pen replacement if your purchase is still within the 1-year warranty. You can send the following information to service@huion.com if your purchase date is within a year ago:

    • Serial number (found at the back of the tablet)
    • Purchase order number
    • Link where you purchased your tablet
    • A video as you use your pen on your tablet with and without the charging cable. Please don't use a screen capture since we need to see your pen, your tablet and your screen; you can take the video using your phone instead. You can send the video through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and share the link in the email. If you upload the video, please make sure to remove the restriction so anyone who has the link will be able to access it.


    On the other hand, if you purchased your tablet over a year ago, you can just purchase a new pen from our official online store at https://store.huion.com/collections/accessories.
