Huion 1060Plus Pen "lag"

I don't know if lag is the proper term for it, but it's the closest thing I can think of. I don't really know how to describe this, so here's an example of the issue:

I say lag because that's all I can think of. The pen seems to stop responding for a moment, then when it does, it draws a straight line from the last time it connected. This is a mellow version of it too, I've done the same stroke and gotten a grand total of 5 lines. I've tried charging my pen, uninstalling and reinstalling the Huion driver, restarting my laptop, I even updated Medibang to see if that was the issue. Nothing has worked, and it's really causing problems. I don't want to replace the tablet unless absolutely have too,  but I'm starting to see less alternatives. Any and all help would be appreciated.

  • Hi Spartan King, this is more of a polyline issue. Kindly provide the following information:

    • Driver version installed on your computer
    • Computer operating system and version
    • Medibang version
    • Does this issue persist in other drawing software?
    • Your tablet's serial number (found at the back of the tablet)

  • Ok hi, thank you for the assistance.


    - The driver version is: 13.14.13.170626


    - I don't fully understand what to give here, but I'll try my best: It runs on an HP laptop, windows 10, and the only thing labeled version that I could find is 1907.


    - Medibang version is 25.0, which is the most recent version.


    - The only other program I have to test on is MS paint, but it seems to work without issue there.


    - The tablet's serial number is: 7AT38SH02196

  • Hi Spartan King, thank you for providing the requested information. The driver you've installed is not the latest version. Kindly uninstall the 13.14.13 version and install the latest version which you can download from this link: Huion New 1060Plus (8192) Graphic Tablet Drivers. Please take note of the following:

    • Make sure that you have uninstalled all tablet drivers, whether our drivers or from other brands.
    • Turn off your antivirus and close all drawing software before running the installation.
    • Do not connect your tablet to your computer while installing the tablet driver. Connect it only after it has been installed.

  • It didn't work. Is there anything else that can be done, or am I in trouble?

  • Hi Spartan King, kindly try reinstalling Medibang and check if it will resolve your issue. Since you've mentioned that it only occurs in Medibang, it may be possible that the issue is with the said software. Please try to check if the pen also behaves the same way in our tablet driver and try changing the pen nib with a new one.

  • i have the same problem, did you ever find a solution?? ive had this issue for a months and its really annoyin. i get it, its not quite lag, its just wierd

  • Hi Kirasaur, may you please send a video of your issue to service@huion.com and please include the following information:

    • Serial number (found at the back of your tablet)
    • Purchase order number
    • Link where you purchased your tablet
    • The tablet driver version you installed
    • The drawing software and the version where you experience the lag
    • Your computer operating system and version


    We will try to assess your issue based on what we see on the video. If your video is over 20MB, please send it through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and make sure that you remove the restrictions so anyone who has the link will be able to view it.
