Kamvas Pro 12 "No Signal", "Sleep Mode"

I bought the Kamvas Pro 12 earlier this year (May 31st), and I have had zero issues with it up until a few days ago. It's been giving me "No Signal" and "Sleep Mode" messages every time I turned it on.

At first, I thought this was simply a matter of updating because I'd never updated the tablet before, so I updated it and it still didn't do anything. I restarted my laptop, reinstalled the driver, and even double checked everything- nothing is working.

To make it even more confusing, my computer recognises my tablet as an entity, but not as a second monitor. It recognises when the tablet is plugged in and not plugged in, but I can't duplicate the screen and when I look into the settings it isn't recognised at all. 


I really need answers to this. Has anybody else been having this issue? 


If it helps my laptop is a windows 10 HP laptop as well.

  • No it didn't work I tried the article still didn't work and I even tried it on my old laptop and it still didn't work I think if it still doesn't work I'm gonna consider returning the tablet and looking for a different one

    Hi Gabriel Rodríguez, thank you for providing your old laptop's model. Comparing both laptop's specs, the HDMI ports of both laptops are comparable and we don't see any issue that would cause your new laptop not to show any display. May you please try connecting a different display screen to your new HP laptop and check if it will display without any issues? Kindly try to check your HP laptop's display settings as well.

  • I connected the laptop to the T.V. and it works fine.

    What should I cheek in my laptop display settings? I mean, it connects fine in other devices.

  • HI, i brought huion kamvas pro 12 last year. I brought on 28 Nov and get the product at 4 Dec. It been giving me "no sleep" / "no signal" whenever I turn on since yesterday. I tried to restart my laptop for a few times but it still doesn't work. 


    I also tried to reinstall the driver, update but things never solved.

    My laptop recognises my tablet as an entity, but not as a second monitor. It recognises when the tablet is plugged in and not plugged in, but I can't duplicate the screen and when I look into the settings it isn't recognised at all. 


    My laptop is Lenovo 80SL, if that helps.

    Pls, help me out because I need this to be urgently fixed.



  • Hi Ivy 08, may you please check if your laptop's HDMI port is working fine by connecting another display screen? If your laptop detects the other display, it is possible that your 3-in-1 cable may have a problem. 

    If you are using an adapter, please try using a different adapter so we can check if the issue is with the adapter. Otherwise, kindly send an email to service@huion.com with the following information so we can help you with your cable replacement:

    • Serial number (found at the back of your tablet, right after S/N)
    • Order number
    • Link to a video that shows your cable connections and what happens when you turn your tablet on. You can send the video through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and make sure you remove the restrictions so anyone who has the link can access it.

  • Hi, I am also having the same problem. I just bought the Kamvas 12 a month ago and it was working perfectly fine last night but this morning It just kept turning on and then immediately going into power save mode. I have reset the tablet, reset my computer, redownloaded drivers at least 3 times, updated my computer checked all the wires and nothing is working. When I restart the tablet it will reconnect for 2 seconds before shutting off and disconnecting again. I have an Asus G512LI Laptop. I am just not sure if any update caused this or if it's the tablet or how to fix it.

  • I have the same issues I recently purchased pen display 22 plus, I connected him like the manual says, The driver recognises the display and the pen working when I setting the working area, BUT the display not working he shows like the logo up and then the red light goes to green light, On the SCREEN there is a massage says NO SIGNAL . I can’t see the monitor in my Mac display setting, I don’t know what happand and it really makes me sad because I really I waited for it. I connected it with usb c cable to usb c (came with the purchase) And power throws 3n-1 cable. I am using MacBook Pro m2 OS Version: 13.4.1 Driver Version: 15.6.5.50 Device Model: KAMVAS 22 GS2202 Firmware Version: HUION_M19t_20091 Thanks in advance really waiting for this And hopes it will work Btw, I have been trying connecting in to a pc computer with the same cables and it worked. Please help me make it work on myyy maccc
