Right clicking/dragging issue


In my pen, I assigned the button near the nib as 'right click' and the upper button as 'switch screen'. Sometimes, when I'm dragging right click while hovering the screen, it sometimes malfunctions and does not release the right click at all. And then when I tap (pen nib click) the screen after that, all taps register as right click. I cannot use my mouse or pen as left click on any of my screens.

The only way to fix it is press right click again on either my pen or mouse.

I tried swapping the button functions but the problem persist only on the right click function.

I am using Huion Kamvas 22.

I tried installing all available drivers on the Huion website including the drivers for the plus version. Unfortunately, none of them worked properly.

I first noticed this when I was working in photoshop. At first I thought it's just an error with my program. But upon finding the cause/activation of this issue, It seems like it's a driver problem. Also, this only happened when I got my new PC.

Even though it's fixable with just a click, it majorly changes my workflow and I don't like it. I hope to find a better solution for this issue.

  • Hi Pao Quiambao Villavicencio, I'm sorry for the inconvenience your issue is causing you. Do you still have your old PC? If you do, could you please test if the issue persists there? If you don't, may you kindly check if you experience the same issue on another computer? Kindly provide the following as well:

    1. Your new PC's Windows OS version and build
    2. Your old PC's Windows OS version and build (if you still have it) or the other PC you can test your tablet with
    3. Driver version - you can find it in the tablet driver > Settings > About tab
    4. Firmware version - you can find it in the tablet driver > Settings > Device tab

  • Ah, unfortunately, my laptop died that's why I have a new pc built where the problem occurred.

  • Hi Huion and OP,

    I am saddly experimenting the same issue on my Kamvas 22 plus.

    I work in Blender and 3d Coat and this exact issue happens with both softwares. My windows also seems to be freezing up and I have to press escape multiple times in order for my computer to un-freeze. I can click on a few things but not on the majority of my desktop icons.

    I've tried changing nibs, I also ordered a new stylus to check to see if it was a stylus issue but it does the same thing with the new stylus (PW517).

    I've un-installed my programs noumerous times and re-installed them. I also deleted the driver's and re-installed them and the issue persists.

    I am running Windows 11 family edition and here are my specs:
    13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13500 2.50 GHz

    32,0 Go (31,7 Go utilisable)

    64 bits, processeur x64

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

  • hola. Tengo el mismo problema desde que formateé mi pc. Antes he tenido el problema pero lo solucionaba instalando un controlador que existia en la web de Huion/
    Ahora ya no está ese controlador en la web. Era específico de Windows 10.

    Con ese controlador que creo se llamba "Huion_Win 10_Driver" o algo asi la tablet Kamvas 22 plus me funcionaba a la perfección. 

    Desde que sacaron ese controlador de windows 10 de la web de Huion, ya no puedo usar correctamente la tablet, no detecta cuando libero el boton del lapiz, ya sea que apriete el boton de arriba o el de abajo (refieriendome a los botones del costado del lapiz) Me gustaría que por favor me proporcionaran ese driver

  • Hi, Pao, Jean-Philippe, Martinrniz, and gather tearful, please try uninstalling the driver you currently have on your computer and install this instead: HuionTablet_WinDriver_v15.7.4.195. Please follow the steps in these articles:
