How to charge Huion Kamvas 16 2021?

Hello! I would like to know how to charge kamvas 16 (2021), because I have no idea when it is fully charged and when it is not. The official driver does not show me anywhere if the tablet is charged and the light on the tablet is always red, even if i have it plugged in. So I'm completely unaware when it has battery and when it doesn't. Even if I connect it with my laptop, the light is constantly red, so it kind of confuses me. What can I do about that?
  • Hi Katerina, I'm sorry to inform you that our Kamvas 16 (2021) doesn't have a battery. Thus, it needs to be connected to a power source such as your computer, power bank or a power outlet. When you connect your tablet to your laptop, please ensure the HDMI and black USB are connected to your laptop if you're using the 3-in-1 cable. If you're using the full-featured USB-C to USB-C cable, please ensure that your laptop's USB-C port can handle display connection (USB 3.1 with DP1.2).   • Hello! Thank you for informing me, cause I had no idea it doesn't have a battery. I just noticed that every few weeks the screen shuts down to black, I can't see anything and only the pen works, with a "Power Saving" notification. So this is why i assumed that it needs to be charged. In this situation, what can I do so the screen doesn't go on black mode? Again, when this happens the pen works on my computer, but not the tablet's screen. Is it my laptop's fault perhaps? Thank you again for your help!

    When you encounter the "power saving" notification, please try the following steps:

    1. If you're using the 3-in-1 cable, please ensure that the HDMI end is connected to your laptop.
    2. If you're using the full-featured USB-C to USB-C cable, please ensure your laptop's USB-C port can handle display connection. It should support USB 3.1 with DP 1.2.
    3. Ensure that you connected the cables to the correct port on your computer.
    4. If you encounter a black screen and the driver detects your tablet, your tablet display may have entered the tablet mode where you can use it like a graphics tablet (without a screen). If this is so, press the tablet display's power button to turn on the screen and you can use it with the display again.

  • Hello again, and sorry for bothering you that much. So the tablet is apparently in tablet mode, like a graphics tablet (as you mentioned), but I cannot turn it back to display again. Is there a scenario that the cable might be damaged? It seems perfectly fine to me but I cannot figure out any other reason why the driver detects my tablet but the screen stays black. Thank you once again!

    If your tablet remains black, do you encounter the "No signal" and "Power saving" errors when you turn on your tablet? If you do, please try the steps in this article if you haven't done so already: What to Do If Your Huion Pen Display Shows A Black Screen or No Signal. If you continue experiencing the issue, there are 2 possible causes: a defective cable or tablet. Thus, please provide a video of your cable connections from your tablet to your computer so I can check further. Also, include in the video when you try turning on your tablet and capture your screen. Please also open your driver. I'll provide my assessment after I view your video. 

    I also want to let you know that all HUION products come with a 1-year warranty from the purchase date, provided it was purchased from our official online and offline channels or sellers. If your tablet was purchased within a year ago, please let me know so I can create a ticket for you and help you claim your warranty.
