doesn't work out of the box

just got my H1060P today from Amazon.  There's only one way to plug this thing in, when I do, the computer recognizes the device, drivers are up-to-date....but the device's OWN APP does not detect the device?????

  • Hi Christine de Klerk & Vicente Perez de Sevilla, if you are using a Windows computer, you can use the tablet even without the driver. However, if you are using a Mac computer, you need to install the driver. May you please try the steps found in this article: What To Do When Huion Driver Shows Device Disconnected? If this won't resolve your issue, kindly send the following to service@huion.com so we can check on it further:

    • Serial # (found at the back of your tablet, right after S/N)
    • Amazon Order #
    • Your computer operating system and version
    • Version of the tablet driver you've installed
