Kamvas 13 Keeps Disconnecting and Reconnecting

Hey there! Recently bought the Kamvas 13 from Amazon and immediately fell in love with it but recently its been having issues staying connected. I'm using the 3-1 cable and it will start a cycle of disconnecting and reconnecting. The screen will stay on but the led light will be constantly turning off then on with the windows noise signaling a device being disconnected. I've tried updating the driver (none available), reinstalling the driver, unplugging the tablet and plugging it back in but it always ends up doing this. Is this a driver issue? Cable issue? Bad tablet?

    Also, after I disabled the 2 Huion Tablet things in the Startup tab of the Task Manager and left the TabletDriverCore on, it only disconnects once when I start the computer and after that things are fine.

  • Hi Goceng Ceban, since you have the Kamvas Pro 13, the disconnection and reconnection issue can be fixed by following the steps found in this article: What To Do When Huion Driver Shows Device Disconnected?.     If the issue is not resolved, given that your computer ports are working fine, then it is most probable that the issue is with your 3-in-1 cable. You can send an email to service@huion.com with the following information so we can assist you further:

    1. Tablet Serial number 
    2. Version of the tablet driver you've installed
    3. Your computer's operating system and version
    4. Link to the video as you perform the applicable steps in the article that I've shared above.

  • Hello. I have received my new cable, but the same issue continues. The tablet keeps connecting and disconnecting randomly. With the new cable it's slightly better, but still not fixed. I'm not pleased with this at all as it is a vital tool for my work, and I paid the shipping for the replacement. I would like to know what other solutions are available and what you can do to remedy this problem.

    As I stated in the post, I had a brand new cable that I had just bought (after a power surge during some rain fried the old one), and the issue still persisted on the new cable.

    It's 100% not the cable's fault in this case, but it's something to do with either the computer hardware, the driver software, or something else.

    I hope this can be figured out soon cause this issue is pretty irritating to say the least.

  • I have an update to the disconnect problem,, but I'll summarize the steps I've tried so far:

    update Firmware and Driver (still get disconnects)

    Different USB ports on motherboard  (still get disconnects)

    Plugging in the red USB power to separate power supply (same result plugged in or not)

    Different USB ports on a PCI Express expansion card (same result as mobo ports)

    Changing Windows and BIOS USB power settings. (still get disconnects)
    Trying a different Win 10 PC (still get disconnects)
    Granting Administrator Privileges in Huion tablet app (still get disconnects)
    New 3-in-1 Cable received from Huion (still get disconnects)
    Installing "HuionTablet_Win10_v14.8.153.1344.exe" as suggested by support (still get disconnects)

    As suggested by Victor Do; Ending the HuionTablet process in task manager (No disconnects)

    Checking for updates via the HuionTablet app and installing the latest driver (as of 18/12/2020)
    "HuionTablet_WinDriver_v14.8.166.1482_HID.exe" (No disconnects so far! ... after about an hour)

    I'll leave it on for a while longer and report back, but it looks like the latest driver might fix the issue.

    Ending the HuionTablet process in task manager Does work though, and it seems to remember custom keys etc even after termination
