Pen not working

My GT-156 V2 art pen has suddenly stopped working. I looked up multiple answers, but none of them worked. A few days ago is when it started. I don't have a battery-powered one, and the charging one is the problem. I've tried restarting everything, charging the pen again for multiple days, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. The driver says everything is connected but the pen won't take over my cursor.

Según lo que vemos en el video, dado que el controlador de su tableta muestra "Dispositivo desconectado", significa que su computadora no pudo reconocer que su tableta estaba conectada. ¿Ha conectado los cables correctamente?     Si confirma que ha conectado correctamente los cables, pero su lápiz no funciona aún, intente los siguientes pasos, si no lo ha hecho antes:

    1. Si está utilizando el cable 3 en 1, intente conectar el extremo USB-A negro de su cable 3 en 1 a otro puerto USB de su computadora y asegúrese de que funcione. Para verificar si lo es, intente conectar otro dispositivo al puerto USB específico y vea si funciona bien.
    2. Desenchufe todos los cables de su tableta y su computadora, desinstale el controlador, vuelva a conectar los cables y pruebe si su tableta funciona sin el controlador.
    3. Si es así, entonces el problema es causado por el controlador que puede no haber sido instalado correctamente. Simplemente reinstale el controlador asegurándose de que su tableta no esté conectada a su computadora, de que todos sus programas de dibujo estén cerrados y de que su antivirus esté apagado al hacerlo.
    4. Pero si su tableta aún no funciona sin el controlador, intente conectar su tableta a otra computadora, si tiene acceso a otra, y vea si funciona.


    Siguiendo los pasos mencionados anteriormente, si el controlador de su tableta sigue mostrando "Dispositivo desconectado", responda a su ticket para que pueda ayudarlo más. Es posible que su cable esté defectuoso o su propia tableta lo esté.

    Hi Fire wolf_yt 532, thank you for sending a video through our email. Based on what we see in the video, since your tablet driver is showing "Device disconnected", it means that your computer was not able to recognize your tablet as being connected. Have you connected the cables properly? To check if you have, kindly refer to this article: How do I connect the Huion Kamvas 13 to my computer?


    If you confirm that you have properly connected your cables but your pen won't work still, please try the following steps, if you haven't done so before:

    1. If you are using the 3-in-1 cable, try plugging the black USB-A end of your 3-in-1 cable to another USB port on your computer and make sure it is functional. To check whether it is, try connecting another device to the specific USB port and see if it works fine.
    2. Unplug all cables from your tablet and your computer, uninstall the driver, plug the cables back in and test if your tablet works without the driver. 
    3. If it does, then the issue is caused by the driver which may have not been properly installed. Just reinstall the driver making sure your tablet is not connected to your computer, all your drawing programs closed, and your antivirus turned off when doing so. 
    4. But if your tablet still won't work without the driver, please try connecting your tablet to another computer, if you have access to another one and see if it works. 


    By following the above-mentioned steps, if your tablet driver continues to show "Device disconnected", please reply to your ticket so I can assist you further. It is possible that your cable is defective or your tablet itself is.

  • Hi Guiller207, please try the following steps:

    1. Uninstall the driver, unplug your tablet from your computer then plug it back in. Try using your tablet without the driver. (NOTE: This method is not applicable to MacOS Catalina and Big Sur since you need the driver for your tablet to work on these operating systems)
    2. Try using your tablet on a different computer if you have access to one and check if your pen works.
    3. Change your pen nib with a new one. 
    4. Try using a different program and check if the pen works on a different program.


    If the above-mentioned steps still result to not having any response with your pen, please send the following to service@huion.com to be assisted further:

    • Serial number (found at the back of your tablet, right after S/N)
    • Order number
    • Your computer's operating system
    • Version of the tablet driver you've installed
