My pen suddenly stopped working ( Kamvas 20)

So worry to bother you, but I have problem.

My pen suddenly stopped working out of nowhere. My tablet won't react to it at all. It suddenly just stopped being picked up while I was working on a new canvas and now the pen won't draw or move the cursor at all. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, unplugging and re plugging all the cords that aren't broken and even switched nibs. None of these have worked. I can see that it wants to respond( It will have a loading icon or budge a pixel or two) but after that there is absolutely no response. If anyone can help me it would be gladly appreciated.

  • Hi Wierdo Coppter, does your tablet driver show as "Device connected"? Kindly try the following steps:

    1. Unplug your tablet from your computer and uninstall the tablet driver currently installed.
    2. Plug the tablet back in and test if the tablet works without the driver. If it works, then the issue is with the driver. If it still doesn't, it may be possibly caused by other factors.
    3. Please unplug your tablet again, reboot your computer and reinstall the latest driver for your tablet which you can download from this link: Huion Kamvas 20 Tablet Display Drivers. You can check out these articles on how to properly reinstall your tablet driver:
    4. After properly reinstalling the driver, connect your tablet back to your computer and check if the driver shows "Device connected" and if your pen works this time.
    5. If it still doesn't, please try replacing the USB cable with a different one. It is possible that the cause was due to a faulty cable.
    6. Try plugging the USB cable to a different USB port. It is possible that the issue is due to a faulty USB port.
    7. If you have access to another computer, please try your tablet with another computer. If the tablet works well using a different computer, we just need to know more about your computer to know what caused it not to work. It may be due to your computer settings, faulty ports or lack of computer drivers or computer system conflict.

If all steps above do not resolve your issue, it may be possible that your pen is broken. Please send the following information to service@huion.com to be assisted further:

    • Purchase order number
    • Link where you purchased your tablet
    • Serial number found at the back of your tablet
    • A video that clearly shows your issue. You can just use your phone in taking the video and please make sure to capture your tablet driver if it is showing as "Device connected", explain what troubleshooting steps you have done so far and trying out your pen on your drawing software. If your video exceeds 20MB, you can send it through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive. If it's the latter, please make sure you remove the restriction so anyone who has the link will be able to view it.
