Huion desktop app reporting device disconnected

I have a H610Pro (8192) and while Windows does see the device as connected, the Huion desktop app on two different computers states Device Disconnected. One running Win7, the other Win10

  • Hi Craig Vinson, thank you for your post. The reason why your tablet driver shows as "Device disconnected" is due to one of the following reasons:

    • Tablet was not securely connected to the USB port
    • The USB port or the tablet's port is defective
    • The connection cable is defective
    • The wrong driver or an out-dated one was installed
    Thus, if you are experiencing this issue, please try the steps below and see if it gets resolved:
    1. Make sure that the USB cable is connected securely, and the USB port is functional;
    2. Change with another USB cable or port;
    3. Change to another computer, if possible, to see if the issue still persists;
    4. Re-install the latest driver from the Huion Official website.
     Below are the steps for you to reinstall the driver:
    1. Log out from the Huion driver, close all running drawing programs, and turn off your antivirus software.
    2. Uninstall all Huion drivers and make sure there are no other tablet drivers installed on your computer. 
    3. Unplug the Huion tablet from your computer and restart it.
    4. Download and install the driver from the Huion official website. Please turn off antivirus if needed.
    5. Plug the tablet back in.

    • Product serial number (found at the back of your tablet)
    • Link where you purchased your tablet
    • Your computer's operating system and its version
    • Tablet driver version installed
    • A video that clearly shows your issue. Please capture your tablet driver and try clicking on the settings. You can send it through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and make sure you grant permission to anyone who has the link to view it.
