Kamvas Pro 12 "No Signal", "Sleep Mode"

I bought the Kamvas Pro 12 earlier this year (May 31st), and I have had zero issues with it up until a few days ago. It's been giving me "No Signal" and "Sleep Mode" messages every time I turned it on.

At first, I thought this was simply a matter of updating because I'd never updated the tablet before, so I updated it and it still didn't do anything. I restarted my laptop, reinstalled the driver, and even double checked everything- nothing is working.

To make it even more confusing, my computer recognises my tablet as an entity, but not as a second monitor. It recognises when the tablet is plugged in and not plugged in, but I can't duplicate the screen and when I look into the settings it isn't recognised at all. 


I really need answers to this. Has anybody else been having this issue? 


If it helps my laptop is a windows 10 HP laptop as well.

May you please try to do the troubleshooting steps found in this article: What to Do If Your Huion Pen Display Shows A Black Screen or No Signal. If doing so still does not resolve your concern, your 3-in-1 cable may be defective. Please send the following information to service@huiontablet.com:

    1. Product Serial Number (found at the back of your tablet)
    2. Purchase Order Number
    3. Link where you purchased your tablet
    4. A video showing your problem clearly (kindly send it through WeTransfer or upload it to Google Drive and please make sure you grant permission to anyone who has the link).

  • Hi Alena Khaidukova, have you tried the troubleshooting steps found in this article: What to Do If Your Huion Pen Display Shows A Black Screen or No Signal? If your issue is not resolved after following these steps, it may be possible that:

    1. Your VGA/DVI/HDMI/3-in-1 cable is broken.
    2. If you're using an adapter, the adapter may be broken.
    3. There may be a problem with the VGA/DVI/HDMI/3-in-1 port (computer or tablet).

    Thus, please send the following information to service@huiontablet.com for further assistance:

    • Product order number;
    • Product serial number (S/N), which can be found at the back of your unit;
    • Link where you purchased the item;
    • A video that clearly shows your issue (kindly send it through WeTransfer or upload to Google drive and grant permission to anyone with a link to view it).

  • the problem wasn't in the cable. It was drivers but not huion or video card drivers. My laptop wasn't recognise a tablet as monitor and was show it just like usb device. So i resolved it this way:

    1. Go to device manager

    2. Find your device (my was in usb device)

    3. Go to properties and open details than choose compatible ids. Appear something like this USB\VID_0BDA&PID_0129&REV_3960 (not exactly like this)

    4. Just copy it and paste in google, it find a driver. Download it and install. Hope it will work for you and sorry for my english.

  • Hi Alena Khaidukova, I'm glad your issue has been resolved and thank you for sharing the steps you took to resolve your issue. We could not replicate this from our end so we can not confirm if this process will work for other users. Usually, the cause for this issue is with the cable, adapter if you are using one, or the port. May you please provide the following information so we can research on this further:

    • Computer laptop model
    • Operating system version of your computer

  • Hey, I have the same problem with my KAMVAS Pro 22. Can you guys help me? I do no have any adapter. It is plugged directly HDMI and USB
  • Hi Gabriel Rodríguez, may you please change the HDMI cable and check if you still encounter the same issue? Have you connected your tablet to a laptop or a desktop? If it is to a desktop, please make sure that you connect it to your desktop's dedicated video card, if it has one.   • Thanks for your prompt reply. I tested 2 different HDMI cables [which perfectly works on other devices] and I still receive no signal. It is a brand new laptop with windows 10 [HP Laptop Pavilion x360 15-DQ1001la de 15.6" - Core i5 - Intel UHD - Memoria 4GB - Disco duro 1TB+OPTANE 16GB] . I used to connect my KAMVAS in an old laptop with windows 7 with the same HDMI cable and it worked. I do not know why this brand new laptop do not reveive the signal. I only buy the new laptop to have a better performance. Please help

  • Hi Gabriel Rodríguez, thank you for providing your laptop model. Based on your new laptop specs, it has the HDMI 1.4 so we don't see any reason that your Kamvas Pro 22 won't work. May I know your old laptop's model so we can compare the specs?

  • Hello there I also have the same issue I bought the Kamvas pro 12 I set it all up for the first time and it said no signal it still doesn't wanna work is something wrong with it does it have something to do with the HDMI cable in the 3 in 1 cable do I need an HDMI port or is it my laptop it's an Asus aspire 3 i5 with windows 10 someone help me out, please
  • Hi Loco Bandit, does your laptop have an HDMI port? If it doesn't, please use an HDMI to USB-C or MiniDP adapter to connect your tablet to your laptop. If you only have a USB-C port, please make sure to connect it to a port that is capable of display connection.     If the steps found in the above-mentioned article do not resolve your "no signal" issue, please send the following information to service@huion.com:

    • Serial number (found at the back of your tablet)
    • Purchase order number
    • Link where you purchased your tablet
    • A link to your video as you connect the cables to your tablet and computer and as you turn your tablet on. Please send it through WeTransfer or upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive and if you upload it, make sure that you remove the restrictions so anyone who has the link will be able to access it.

  • Yes I do have an HDMI port and it works fine with my tv but the laptop doesn't detect the tablet and I tried a few things I even thought it was just the driver so I downloaded it and it also didn't work
