Add Function to allow Touch Bar To Manipulate Zoom, Rotate, and Brush Size.

The Huion Kamvas Pro 20 (2019) does not allow switching between Zoom, Rotate, or Brush Size for the Touch Bar. This function is pretty much a standard among Pen Display Tablets, even the Kamvas Pro 12, 13 and 16 have a dedicated button for this function.

I would like the ability to set the programmable keys to be able to switch functionality of the Touch Bar, so that you can quickly switch between functions that the touch bar manipulates.

  •  Add me to the list of users asking for more options with the touch strip. Coming from my 12wx - a 13 year old tablet that had this function - it was surprising to find that I couldn't modify the touch panels.

@phil, I've had one of those Expresskey Remote things for a couple of years and could never get used to using it. It's either hand directly on the tablet or on a keyboard for me I'm afraid.

  • Hello, i just got a pro 20, is this issue being taken into consideration? I would absolutely love to set a button as a modifier for the touchstrip so i can use it as zoom/rotate/brush size just like i do with my Inspiroy Dial.

  • Really want this in some regard too please! I'm really struggling to get used to not having this ability and it feels like a downgrade even though I just upgraded.

  • I ended up buying the Wacom ExpressKey Remote and using that for button functionality. It has given the feel of a Wacom back and also given me one hand access to more buttons which is a bonus. A bit pricey, but well worth it.

  • HI
was this issue solved or updated by the Huion Technical team?

  • Hi Gennaro Mangani, as of the moment, I'm sorry to let you know that this is still not available for the Kamvas Pro 20 model. You can only assign one of the functions to your touch bar. Adding this capability to the driver would take time and it would also depend on whether the hardware can handle the added functionality. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

  • I use the Huion KAMVAS Pro 22 (2019) with Clip Studio Paint and it would be very useful to use the "touch bar" to increase the brush size when scrolling up and decrease the brush size when scrolling down.

  • Hi Yuri, I'm sorry to let you know that we still have to add this capability to our Pro 20 or 22 size tablets as of the moment. As of this writing, we don't have any updates if and when this will be implemented.

  • I can't zoom-in or zoom-out on my Kamvas Pro 20 (2019) in Sai 2. I haven't this problem before, touch bar isn't working clearly. What can I do?

  • Hi Marfafa, kindly try the following steps if you haven't done so before:

    1. Uninstall and reinstall the driver. Or better yet, install the latest driver version for your tablet which you can download from this link: Kamvas Pro 20 (2019) Drivers and Manuals. Please ensure to disconnect your tablet from your computer, turn off your antivirus, and close all your drawing programs while installing the driver.
    2. Use other drawing software and check if your touch bar works fine.
    3. If the issue only happens in SAI 2, try uninstalling and reinstalling SAI 2.

Please let me know if you still encounter issues so we can test your hardware further.
