Pen isn't working on GT-190
Hi, I'm having issues with my Huion GT-190, as it doesn't recognize my pen anymore.I've had it for many years but stopped using it for at least 3, when I was drawing on it years ago it worked fine but 3 days ago when I tried to use it again, the pen didn't work.
At first I was having the "disconnected" issue many had, but I somehow solved it so the tablet has the connected status on the driver, however the pen doesn't work at all.
I tried to switch main monitors on my computer settings as well as the Pen Display tab, I tried to switch USB slots, I installed previous versions of the driver, it didn't help.
The pen is not at fault because at one point it did move, but on my computer's monitor and not tablet; it's when I tried to make it work on the tablet that it stopped working all together.
It is worth noting that when the usb cable is plugged in, the "connected" sound is soon followed by the "disconnected"sound from the computer, though in the Pen Display the tablet is still connected.
Thanks for the help.
Hi Melanie, thank you for reporting your concern. Kindly uninstall your tablet driver and make sure there are no tablet drivers installed in your computer. Please try the tablet without any driver installed and see if the tablet works. If it works, please reinstall the driver and make sure to unplug your tablet from your computer before reinstalling the driver.
What operating system are you running on? If you're running on MacOS, please follow the instructions on how to install the latest driver from this article: Solution to the Installation Problems under Mac Mojave and Catalina. If you are using Windows, on the other hand, please refer to this article instead: How to Install Huion Drivers on Windows (just follow the instructions for version 14 drivers).
If the tablet still doesn't work without the driver, please send an email to service@huiontablet.com with the following information:

My pen works fine as a mouse but it will not write on screen freehand.
Hi Geoffrey.lee, thank you for contributing to this topic. Does your tablet show "Device connected"? Does it work without the tablet driver? More details is appreciated so we would know how to proceed.

Yeah I got out my tablet. I’m running OS Monterey. Did everything they said in the pdf. Tried using plugged in, then using different usb, made one single dot on screen….stopped…used other pen…no luck, then uninstalling driver. None worked. I got 6 of these for my employees. Gotta return them because I can’t install and make it work. I was told these were “easy” and my employees said they knew how to use them from school. They had them on PCs not Macs, they can’t figure out how to make them work either. Thousands of dollars on software and computers to be stifled by a pen interface. You show me a video of someone installing and using a gt-190 on a Mac running os Monterey…..I’ll be amazed!
Hi Steve Thescientist, We would like to clarify with you if you mean that the pen stops moving suddenly when you use it then it can move again a few seconds later? May I know if the driver shows " connected" when you move your pen. Please kindly try to uninstall the driver to check if the pen can work properly. If the pen can work properly without the driver installed, it indicates that the driver is not install properly, there is an article How to Install Huion Driver on MacOS for your reference.

Hi Steve Thescientist, Thank you for your clarification. The buttons not working is normal when you use the pen without the driver installed as the driver controls the pen buttons and the shortcuts on tablet
Kindly follow the steps below:
Type "huion" on the search bar at the top right corner, select the HuionTablet driver and HuionTabletCore then click on the "x". On the pop-up window, just click "Quit"
